Believe it or not, there are several designer dresses for your bridesmaids that can be purchased at reasonable prices. The following designers all have dresses for $200 or less: Jessica McClintock, Jeffrey & Dara, Watters & Watters, Nicole Miller, Dessy, Bill Levkoff, Jim Hjelm, and Betsey Johnson, just to name a few. The problem is, in this price range, you are only going to get the most basic, plain design – no frills.

On the pricier end of the scale you have designers such as Saeyoung, Victoria Hadden & Lisa Kenny (Serefina), Vanessa Fox, Amsale, and Vera Wang. While some of these designer dresses can be found at discounts, you can generally plan on paying around $250 and up for a bridesmaid dress. Some bridesmaid dresses can run into the thousands of dollars.

While price may be a problem, quality sets a designer bridesmaid dress apart from the rest. The workmanship is quite good and the seller stands behind their product. However if you need your bridesmaid dresses in a hurry, you may not want to order from a designer as they tend to take longer to deliver than regular bridal shops (in most cases).

Whatever choice you go with, be sure it’s something you truly love. After all, you’re going to be looking at those pictures for the next 50 to 60 years!
